Our stainless steel RTJ (Ring Type Joint) plate flanges are engineered for the most demanding high-pressure, high-temperature sealing applications. Precision-forged from ASTM A182 F316 and F304 stainless steel, these flanges feature a machined ring groove in the flange face that accepts a metallic ring gasket (octagonal or oval cross-section per ASME B16.20). When bolted, the ring gasket is compressed into the groove, creating an extremely reliable metal-to-metal seal capable of withstanding pressures up to Class 2500 and temperatures exceeding 500°C. ANSI B16.5 Class 600 rated.
